Kedma, an Israel-based non-profit, empowers its global base of volunteers to give back within Israeli society by connecting them to a wide variety of Israeli causes. Through its robust network of Israeli non-profits, Kedma connects gap year students, schools, families and individuals to volunteer projects that speak to their interests. Through these transformative programs, Kedma strengthens bonds between global Jewry and Israeli society and deepens the participants’ connection to Israel.

Bnei Akiva of the US & Canada provides high quality religious Zionist education and programs for North American Jewish youth along with their families and communities. Basing ourselves on the principles of Torah v’Avodah, we encourage aliyah, love of the Jewish people, and love of Israel. Bnei Akiva of the US & Canada is dedicated to growing generations of Jews committed to building a society devoted to Torah and the Jewish people in the state of Israel.

4 pm: Arrival and check in at Jerusalem hotel.

Thursday, March 16:

8 am - 10 am: Welcome breakfast at the hotel

11am - 1 pm: Choose your own Volunteering Adventure with Kedma

  • Learn about poverty in Jerusalem and pack food packages that will be distributed to the city’s poor

  • Visit one of Jerusalem’s Communal Gardens. Learn about the role that these gardens play in community building and beautifying the city. Plant, compost and help tend to a butterfly garden!

  • Volunteer at one of Israel’s national parks! Help clean up trails and ruins from the time of Ottoman and Jordanian rule while experiencing the great outdoors in Jerusalem!

1:30 pm: Lunch at Yeshivat Torah V’Avodah

3pm - 6:30 pm: free time

6:30pm: Pre-race pasta dinner at Midreshet Torah V’Avodah

Friday, March 17:

RACE DAY — good luck to all of our runners! We will have water, snacks and food at the Bnei Akiva-Kedma table in Gan Sacher! See you after the race!

6pm: Kabbalat Shabbat, Maariv, Dinner and Tisch at the Jerusalem Hotel.

Shabbat, March 18:

Enjoy a recharging and uplifting Shabbat in Jerusalem including ruach, shiurim, and Moshavot/Mach Hach reunions.

Motzai Shabbat: Melaveh Malkah, concert, and farewell. See you at Jerusalem Marathon 2024!


The eleventh International Jerusalem Winner Marathon will take place on Friday, 17 March 2023.

The Marathon will include the flowing races: marathon (42.2 km), half-marathon (21.1 km), 10 km race, 5 km race, Family Race (1.7 km), and Community Race (800 m).

The marathon routes pass through fascinating historical sites that shed light on 3,000 years of history in Jerusalem – the capital of Israel. The Jerusalem Winner Marathon is accessible to persons with a disability. Changes may occur.
